ist am heutigen Tag,(21.12.09) bei Saitek noch nicht gelistet.

Dro16, habe keine Erfahrungsberichte, bis jetzt, gefunden.

Auf die "paar" Tage länger kommt es jetzt auch nicht mehr an.

£ 329.99, ...das wären ca. 350 € !!

Bin selbst gespannt.

Also wenn Du so lange gewartet hast, dann können es die paar Tage mehr auch werden. Der Cougar ist ohne Frage eine Klasse für sich, aber wie man immer wieder liest eben auch gelegentlich Pflegebedürftig.

Hat zwischenzeitlich jemand etwas praktische Erfahrungen mit dem G940? Ich habe ein paar Forenbeiträge bei DCS, Simhq und Logitech selbst gelesen und es kristallisiert sich heraus, dass das Teil zwar hardwaremässig sein Geld zweimal wert ist, softwaremässig aber einiges zu wünschen übrig lässt. Im Grunde gibts zwei große Beanstandungen:

* Um den Zentrierpunkt herum gibt es einen relativ großen Bereich, in dem die Federkraft sehr klein bis nicht vorhanden ist. Das macht es schwer, einen zentralen Punkt zu halten.

* Die Belegungssoftware muss ziemlich fehlerbehaftet sein, so gibt es beispielsweise anscheinend Bluescreens, wenn die "POV" - Tasten geshiftet werden.

Zu Punkt eins behauptet Logitech, das würde an der Implementation der jeweiligen Force-Feedback Software liegen, also an den Sims selbst. Diese Aussage ist wenig hilfreich, da man nun nicht weiß, ob es jemals eine Nachbesserung von Logitech, von den Spieleproduzenten oder von überhaupt jemandem geben wird. Völlig ungeklärt ist die Lage bei nicht - ForceFeedback Software, wo das Problem wohl auch auftritt, aber die Softwareschmiede ihr FF gar nicht nachbessern kann, weil gar nicht vorhanden.

Bei Punkt zwei, der Belegungssoftware allgemein, kann man schon mehr hoffen, denn hier ist nur die Software des G940 selbst betroffen.

Wie es aussieht ist es wohl besser, mit einem Kauf noch zu warten. Kann das jemand bestätigen oder widerlegen?

Das der Drucksensor verbaut wird steht fest.
Den genannten Preis würde ich als nicht fix bezeichnen. Der Cougar lag bei seiner Präsentation in ähnlichen Gefilden. Ich denke das sich hierzulande der Preis zwischen 250,- und 300,- einpendeln wird.

Finde ich auch! Aber wer Geduld hat: Ich bekomme in nächster Zeit angeblich ein Gerät zum Testen (Derzeit noch unter Vorbehalt, aber Saitek soll schon geantwortet haben). Dann kann ich gerne ein paar Eindrücke schildern.
