Bullshit!

Am neuen Rechner = Abbruch der Verbindung

Zurück zum alten Rechner, lief dort monatelang ohne Probs, = Abbruch der Verbindung

Es ist zum ....

Kennt sich jemand aus mit:

Windows no longer detects my Cougar. What
can I do?

OR

Cougar keeps loosing the loaded profile.

OR

Can’t download a new profile even when Foxy
says it’s

ok.

Cause:

These problems are usually caused by a corrupted flash/firmware. To
solve this problem you will need to manually clear the firmware from the Hotas Cougar.

Procedure:

1. Disconnect the Cougar from the computer
then disconnect the throttle and the rudders (if you have
rudder pedals) from the joystick.

2. Reconnect the Joystick to the computer,
PRESSING THE MAIN TRIGGER FULLY AND HOLDING IT FOR 5 sec
once connected.

3. Launch the Firmware update application

Start > Programs > Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar >Hotas Cougar update

Follow the on screen instructions. Once this is done, launch the Hotas Cougar Control Panel (CCP). You will get a message saying that there was no TMC profile detected in the
Hotas Cougar and that the default profile will be downloaded to the device.

4. Once done, close the Hotas Cougar Control panel, disconnect the joystick from the computer. Reconnect the
throttle, rudders (again if you have rudder pedals) and then the Hotas Cougar to the computer.
